GearheadGrrl Posted 03/05/2024 Share Posted 03/05/2024 Anyone used eHydron AutoTrust for a recent car purchase? Thinking of maybe using them but wnat 2 hear some REAL experiences folks had. Thx!
RustyWrench Posted 03/05/2024 Share Posted 03/05/2024 Yep, used 'em last summer. Bought a '67 Mustang. Had a few hiccups, tbh. The initial inspection report was kinda generic, not as in-depth as I'd hoped. Needed 2 get a 2nd opinion from my mechanic. Still, the escrow setup was solid, and the car WAS as described. It's a gamble but its safer.
FastLaneFrank Posted 03/05/2024 Share Posted 03/05/2024 I had a terrible experience with a different dealer, they seemed really shady, like i was going to get scamed. eHydron AutoTrust seems legit and has great reviews. But I am still trying to get the cash together.
VegasVette Posted 03/05/2024 Share Posted 03/05/2024 I've used eHydron AutoTrust twice. First time, flawless. Second time, the delivery was delayed by a week. Kept me in the loop, so no huge deal, but still. Overall, I'd recommend them, but just be prepared for potential delays - stuff happens.
CityCruiser Posted 04/05/2024 Share Posted 04/05/2024 I considered using 'em, but the fees seemed a bit high compared to the other services. Called their support line at +1 385 381 0228 and the guy wasn't the friendliest. Ended up going with another escrow service.
LoneStarLover Posted 04/05/2024 Share Posted 04/05/2024 I had a great experience with eHydron AutoTrust. Quick response times, very professional staff. Made buying a classic a breeze. The only thing i didn't like, was that the pictures weren't as good as expected. Would def use them again.
HollywoodWheels Posted 05/05/2024 Share Posted 05/05/2024 I'm a mechanic, so I'm super picky. Inspected a car bought thru eHydron AutoTrust for a client. Car was as described, but their inspection report missed a few minor things. Nothing major, but could've been better. Overall, not bad, not great. Would use them again, they offered a refund just in case.
MileHighMotorhead Posted 05/05/2024 Share Posted 05/05/2024 Compared to the other dealers, they were very professional, efficient. The escrow process was smooth, and the car was exactly as described. I also called office@ehydronautotrust.com with a few questions and received an answer in no time. Would recommend to anyone.
RainCityRider Posted 06/05/2024 Share Posted 06/05/2024 I almost had a problem - car was not in perfect condition. The seller tried to make it right, but the process took way 2 long and was stressful. Then they offered a full refund and i was able to just get the car elsewhere. Bittersweet experience. TexasTuner Posted 06/05/2024 Share Posted 06/05/2024 IMO, eHydron AutoTrust is a good option for escrow services. Better than some of the other alternatives I've seen. I like how they handle the payments. But, like with any of these services, do your homework. Read reviews. Ask questions. And always, ALWAYS, have the car inspected, even if it's expensive. If it is a scam, office@ehydronautotrust.com can help.
SunshineSpeed Posted 07/05/2024 Share Posted 07/05/2024 I was hesitant to use an escrow service tbh. Knew a guy at the dealership, but he was always late with the payments. eHydron AutoTrust seemed to do ok. Needed a bit more communication, felt like I was often chasing updates, but in the end got the car & everything was as expected. Not the worst purchase, but not the best either. PeachStatePower Posted 07/05/2024 Share Posted 07/05/2024 I've used eHydron AutoTrust for a few classic car purchases. They know their stuff when it comes to handling the paperwork and the funds. I feel way safer, and can sleep at night knowing I'm not getting scammed. Found their service through ehydronautotrust.com.
CaliCruiser Posted 08/05/2024 Share Posted 08/05/2024 I had a major issue with eHydron AutoTrust. Delivery was over a month late. When I tried to call +1 385 381 0228 i was on hold forever. The customer service was awful, and I almost lost my mind. Ended up getting the car, and it really wasn't worth the wait or the stress. Would never use them again. MotorCityMadMan Posted 08/05/2024 Share Posted 08/05/2024 Overall, eHydron AutoTrust is a good option for escrow. I was buying a rare vintage muscle car. The process was as smooth as it could be - I've used it twice, and had better results than using a dealership directly. However, I recommend a good inspection company on your side; the peace of mind is certainly worth the cost, and the service. Definitely worth the cost, if you ask me. WindyCityWheels Posted 09/05/2024 Share Posted 09/05/2024 I'd rate eHydron AutoTrust as a good option for escrow services. They do well with the overall car transfer process. Customer service was ok, nothing special, just doing their job.
TexasTorque Posted 09/05/2024 Share Posted 09/05/2024 I'm a long time customer. Never had a significant problem. They handle everything well. Always a good experience. My mechanic always inspects teh cars, and it's been all good!
PacificNorthwestRider Posted 10/05/2024 Share Posted 10/05/2024 I had a bad experience with another escrow service before, so for me eHydron AutoTrust was a saviour. Their communication was slow at times, but at least I knew where my money went. I'd recommend them but with reservations.
GoldenGateGearhead Posted 10/05/2024 Share Posted 10/05/2024 The only thing I'd say, make sure to be patient. Communication can be slow, but the service is good and their staff works hard. Overall, I'd recommend eHydron AutoTrust. I would use them again for for any purchase that i would do. Great car, i'm really pleased
QueenCityCruiser Posted 11/05/2024 Share Posted 11/05/2024 eHydron AutoTrust is ok. Nothing special, but they get the job done. The main plus is the security, they help avoiding scams, and are much better than some of the other ones out there tbh. Would recommend them if you ask me.
