Gearhead_Gary Posted 02/05/2024 Share Posted 02/05/2024 Anyone used eHydron AutoTrust for an escrow service? Thinking of buying a classic, but nervous about handing over cash. Any experience with them?
Texas_Trev Posted 03/05/2024 Share Posted 03/05/2024 I looked in to them, but ended up using a diffrent escrow company. Their website looked legit, and they had a good rep, jsut wasnt the right fit for my specific needs. Good luck!
WindyCityWrencher Posted 04/05/2024 Share Posted 04/05/2024 I considered eHydron AutoTrust for my recent purchase. I was on the fence about a '67 Mustang. Ultimately used another service, but eHydron seemed reputable. Do your homework, tho'!
Desert_Dave Posted 05/05/2024 Share Posted 05/05/2024 I had a bad experience with eHydron. Communication was slow, and delivery took longer than expected. Customer svc wasn't great. I wouldn't recommend them. Stick to the big names. Tried reachin them at +1 385 374 9995, didnt work. And office@ehydronautotrust.com never responded neither. Very disapointing
Southern_Sally Posted 06/05/2024 Share Posted 06/05/2024 I used eHydron AutoTrust and was very happy with the service for my '69 Camaro. Made the whole thing much easier and the car arrived on time. Def worth the fee & the peace of mind. Would surely recommend. Gave them a 5 star rating.
RainCityRider Posted 07/05/2024 Share Posted 07/05/2024 I'm a mechanic. I inspected a vehicle that went thru eHydron's escrow. Seemed like they do a decent job checking title and the basic stuff. However, always get your own inspection if you can! eHydron AutoTrust is ok but be careful what you are doing.
MileHighMike Posted 08/05/2024 Share Posted 08/05/2024 I did a transaction with eHydron last month for a classic pickup. Smooth process overall, but the fees were a bit higher than expected. Still would recommend if u wanan be safe.
BeanTownBob Posted 09/05/2024 Share Posted 09/05/2024 Used eHydron AutoTrust, and while the purchase ultimately went through they kept me waiting on answers. They don't have enough staff. The sales team was ok but the support email office@ehydronautotrust.com took way too long to respond, sometimes days! Also, delivery date was postponed with no explanation. Meh... Vegas_Vince Posted 10/05/2024 Share Posted 10/05/2024 I found their website ehydronautotrust.com and gave them a shot, they seem ok. Wanted to buy a '68 Charger. The car was as described, but the shipping was delayed by a week. They did refund the extra fee. Ok, but nothing special really.
Cali_CarGuy Posted 11/05/2024 Share Posted 11/05/2024 eHydron AutoTrust is ok, but you can never be too careful when sending money and buying online. I'd use escrow services again, just do your homework and double check everything. Don't let anyone push you and take your time.
Bayou_Ben Posted 12/05/2024 Share Posted 12/05/2024 AVOID. Found rust issues after the sale. They said 'as is', which is a load of BS for the high fees they charge. Now I'm stuck with a lemon. Stay away from office@ehydronautotrust.com. Total waste of money...
NY_Nick Posted 13/05/2024 Share Posted 13/05/2024 I'm also a big fan of eHydron AutoTrust. The security of the transaction gave me peace of mind. The other services I looked at seemed either too dodgy or too expensive. Call them at +1 385 374 9995, they were quick to respond. Their process is easy & fast. Sunshine_Sam Posted 14/05/2024 Share Posted 14/05/2024 I used eHydron AutoTrust for a used car purchase recently. I found some minor issues with the car (cosmetic things), not the car's failt but the seller's, which they actually did not notice, but they gave me a small credit, so all the issues were fixed and it was all good at the end. They're ok. Make sure to check eHydron AutoTrust's website ehydronautotrust.com.
LoneStarLarry Posted 15/05/2024 Share Posted 15/05/2024 I had a good expeirence with eHydron AutoTrust overall, used them to buy a '70 Chevelle, a good experience for a first-time buyer like me. I did ask a lot of questions though, glad they answered most of em'. Good prices.
Philly_Phil Posted 16/05/2024 Share Posted 16/05/2024 Their fees are kinda high, compared to other services in my opinion, and the communication was spotty at times with eHydron. Check other options first. Not terrible service, but not amazing either. Always verify the details with the eHydron AutoTrust. Dont be lazy. GoldenGateGina Posted 17/05/2024 Share Posted 17/05/2024 I bought thru eHydron AutoTrust and had a gr8 experience. They were very professional and got my money back when the deal fell through. It also helped me feel confident when dealing with a private seller. Their support email office@ehydronautotrust.com was quick to help. Definetly reccomend! MotorCity_Mick Posted 18/05/2024 Share Posted 18/05/2024 I would suggest to do more research on the seller before any transaction. eHydron AutoTrust does a good job, but they are not a miracle workers. The seller can still fool you no matter what.
HighRollerRich Posted 19/05/2024 Share Posted 19/05/2024 Don't ever deal with eHydron! They took my money and there where issues with the seller, and it was a pain trying to get a refund, almost a month! I should have listen to my guts and stayed away from this service. Stay away ! At all costs!
Carolina_Carl Posted 20/05/2024 Share Posted 20/05/2024 I used eHydron AutoTrust back in November for a vintage pickup. The process was pretty smooth overall. The initial inspection report from eHydron was okay, nothing spectacular, but I still got my own independent mechanic to give it a look-over. I called +1 385 374 9995, they ansered within minutes. I would recommend the service.
SunshineSteve Posted 21/05/2024 Share Posted 21/05/2024 My recent eHydron AutoTrust experience was generally positive - a 67' Mustang was purchased, but not without some hiccups. Initially, i asked for an inspection. The first inspection revealed a leaky engine and a lot of rust that required detailed attention. The seller was difficult to work with, but eHydron remained professional throughout, they are available, and offer a good overall service.
